This place is so good I had to bring my brother. We split the birria platter and still had food to take home. The only consequential update I have is that this place is now PACKED! Rightfully so. The only reason we were able to sit and eat within the hour was bar seating. This place is amazing so I love seeing others enjoy. I would suggest going early or going on a slow weeknight!

Nice place. Wonderful food. Literally enough food for a family of four with what we ordered. Seasoned well and fresh out. Service was excellent. Gotta give these folks a try!!!!

Those birria tacos are to die for ! I was here for 2 weeks for work. I came in they were busy took a minute to be greeted. I sat at the bar, the guy working behind the bar fielding orders was nice & kept my drink refilled. I didn't like the trip dip and he was nice enough to take it off the bill after he saw I didn't eat it or want to take it to go. I tried to go back to get better content but they were closed for AC repairs.

We got the birria platter. All of the food was amazing. Got a mix of both chicken and beef birria and both were top notch. I've had lots of birria and this is by far one of my favorites. On top of that, our waiter Jesus and the other staff were incredibly kind and attentive.

Ordered everything. Will not go back late at night as it's absolutely insane to get a seat even at the bar- it is absolutely ridiculous environment it's good just a lot!!! Will have to visit earlier in the day lol so we can have a full experience- it was the night before my birthday and it got crazy. ‍ not a drinker but they was like bitch you're taking these shots! Oi!!!

Best kept secret in Louisville. They birria everything and I liked it. The service is great, not much seating inside so get there either before or after the lunch crowd. Full bar inside with TV's so you can easily pull up, catchy a game and feed your face.

Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. We got the trip dip for appetizer. It was queso with beans, guacamole, and queso with chorizo. We were worried the chorizo dip would be spicy but it wasn't. It had really good flavor. I had a Birra Shrimp Taco which was super delicious. Some people in my group were worried they would be too greasy but they weren't. Our waitress was very friendly, attentive, and fast. Restaurant is pretty small. We went about 5pm and sat down right away. But closer to 6pm there were people waiting to be seated. Be prepared to wait for your food because everything is prepared fresh.

Tried this Mexican restaurant on Poplar Level Rd and it had really good food. Try to order on a slow time like 7:40 pm otherwise you will wait a while for your food. It is a midsize place that was packed when I arrived to pick up my pick up take out order. The bar and all the table were occupied. It took an hour to get my food after I arrived. That was the only downside here. Ordered the Briarra noodles and tacos with the sauces was spicy and delicious. Ate some the food the next day and it still kept the flavor. There is some language barrier had to write downy order for them to check it. I asked one of customers if he liked it here and he is a regular that loves the place. Definitely will try other things here in the less busy time.

If you're a taco lover, you've probably heard the buzz about Veronica's Mexican Restaurant. It wasn't five o'clock before I found myself lying on couch browsing DoorDash this afternoon. I'm recovering from a major (preventive) surgery and I had a child start school for the first time this week. Long story short, 3rd party delivery services have become a staple in our household, as of late. I ordered the following: Birria Platter 5 quesabirria tacos, 2 eggrolls, and a personal birria pizza served with 3 consomés. I guess I'm not the best source to determine if a restaurant has the most authentic cuisine, but it tasted more authentic than other birria tacos I've had locally. If you've not have birria, it's like a tender roast flavored with mexican spices, stuffed in a crispy tortilla, and dipped in the stew (or consomé) it's cooked in. It's sweet. It's savory. It's sometimes spicy. Because I had this delivered, I can't describe the atmosphere or service. Pan-fried tortillas would likely be crispier if dining in, but, they weren't especially soggy either. It provided a nice earthy contrast and a good vehicle to get the goodness dunked and devoured. There was an option of chicken or beef; I chose the latter. The marinated beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The platter was served with multiple sauces, marinated pickled onions, and plenty of lime slices. For lack of ability to properly identify them, I will just say the red and green sauces were perfect for those who like to spice things up. And if those aren't hot enough for you, the cheese stuffed jalapeño on top of the pizza will be. The onions tasted stronger than your typical pickled onion. I would guess they might have been marinated in jalapeños and lime. The birria broth is mild but complex. It's an aromatic blend of spices. I thought I detected a hint of cinnamon in my first bite. The egg rolls, pizza, and tacos weren't notably different, but they were all delicious. The only difference might have been in the proportions of meat, cheese, onions, and cilantro. If so, it wasn't notable, yet I gravitated more towards the egg rolls and my husband the tacos. This is not a meal for one. This meal was $40 on DoorDash before all the fees and tips. It's enough to feed two or three people. If you're a taco connoisseur, especially of the birria variety, this place needs to be on your radar.
